Hello and welcome to the Squalicum Valley Artisans Faire blogsite. We are glad you have stopped by to visit. If you are looking for the Artisan Application please look at the LINKS list to the right and click on SVAF ARTISAN APPLICATION. Print it out from your browser and send to the address listed on the form.
Currently the planning committee, which consists of 5 artisans from last year's SVAF, has been busy putting together this year's event, which is scheduled for September 22, 2012. It will be held at the historic Rome Grange, at 2821 Mt. Baker Highway, Bellingham, WA from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Only 6 miles out of Bellingham, the Grange hall has loads of easy parking and is handicapped accessible.
Beautiful and unique items will be available for purchase including
jewelry, handmade cards, fused glass, paper collage, silk scarves and prayer flags, Chinese calligraphy,
handspun yarn, knitted items, hand poured soap, vintage collectibles and
much more. Local musicians will be on hand to keep you entertained while you shop. Check back here often as we will be posting artisan bios & pictures of the items that will be for sale.
So, SAVE THE DATE! Saturday, September 22, 2012! Hope to see you there.

Remembering last year's Artisans Faire
Our 2011 Squalicum Valley Artisan Faire was on a sunny Saturday at the end of September.
We couldn't have asked for a nicer day and people started in the doors as soon as we opened.
We had handspun yarn and crocheted creations
Beautiful jewelry -
Carded wool and roving
Handcrafted earrings, rings and necklaces -
Nancy brought treasures and antiques.
Soaps and lotions
Art prints of collage art.
Hand made cards for all occasions
Hand painted silk flags
Clever needle felted creations.
Hand knitted scarves, bags and baby jackets.
This year's Squalicum Valley Artisan Faire will be held on Saturday September 22nd.
